Mission
The word "Narconon" was actually coined from Narcotics-None. The name is appropriate because the Narconon program is a drug-free program. An addiction to one drug is not simply replaced with a dependency upon another drug. This would not be real rehabilitation. At Narconon, no drugs are used at all and a substance abuser or user is brought to a point where he is free from any compulsion to take drugs or alcohol.
Facility
Although the Narconon program is well established since 1966 and has residential rehabilitation facilities worldwide - Narconon Alberta in particular prides itself on providing an at-home atmosphere. Narconon Alberta facility supports the student's own willingness to contribute with their art, their cooking skills, gardening, etc.
One block away from our facility, Calgary's largest provincial park, Fish Creek is home to plentiful walking trails and wildlife for students to explore with staff.
Additionally, after a proven time on the Narconon program the student has access to a world-class gym two blocks away from the facility.
